With over thirty years combined experience in the arts as an artist, educator, community facilitator and, most recently, a mental health counselor and art therapist, it is a pleasure to help others express themselves creatively and emotionally, build community and explore artistic potential for overall well-being.
Mediums include oil, acrylic, collage, mosaic, clay, 2D, 3D, stained glass, fiber art, print making, horticulture and mixed media.
Populations include traditional students, Veterans, K-12, At Risk Youth, Children with Autism, Adults and Elders in a medical, educational, therapeutic and community setting.
Educational background includes: MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling specializing in Art Therapy, Lesley University; M.Ed. in Education and Curriculum Development, Boston College with MA Department of Education licensure in Visual Art and History, Training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, DBT, Trauma and Resilience, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Expressive Arts and Trauma, ARC Model:Attachment, Self Regulation, Competencies Model; Officer Basic, USAR; Ongoing Continuing Education Classes at Mass College of Art, RISD and Worcester Art Museum.
